The zombie apocalypse hit Las Vegas. This part of the world was walled up to keep the zombies in control. The human population was kept under quarantine and segregated for their safety. Humans lived under the control and especially women, suffered the tyrannical abuse of the army. People tried to make money and leave to find a better life.
The owner of a casino, Tanaka, approached a former mercenary, Scott, to help retrieve the money in the vault of his casino. It was in the centre of the zombie zone. So, for the sake of money, Scott gathered up all sorts of skilled people that he knew to do the heist.
In the midst of this chaos, his estranged daughter decided to join his team to find her lost friend….
This movie was meant to be the movie after the Dawn Of The Dead. There were lots of action shots and amazing special effects makeup. I liked Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, so I looked forward to see him in action!
Trying to avoid spoilers here, but the evolution of the zombie race might seem a bit illogical at times…

Off was a medical student who made money by exorcising evil spirits. As a child, he had an possession encounter with an evil spirit, but his uncle and father (both exorcists) were able to save him. His father didn’t want him to have any more chances of facing spirits, so his father stayed away from Off. His uncle, who was less skilled, watched over him.
One day, Off encounters a lost high school spirit who was dead for five years. She couldn’t remember how and why she died or what her identity was besides her name, Jeen. She was dealing with another evil spirit at an abandoned high school when Off appeared. Naturally, they fought each other. Then, authorities arrived and Off had to leave.
If he could see her, then he might be able to help her rediscover her identity!!
This series was adapted from a Webtoon and in 2016, Bring It On, Ghost was the Korean version. I enjoyed watching the funny interactions the characters had while doing research and fighting evil spirits. However, I preferred if there were less of the romantic scenes. I liked the action scenes more.

For those who got blamed for most of the bad situations or happenings around the home or work place, this quote would be a good reminder. It often only took one or two mistakes. Then, from then on, those toxic family or friends to continue to point fingers at that particular Individual for all the future problems.
Let’s be honest. Who didn’t make any mistakes in their life? No one was perfect ever. Constantly, harassing others gave those people with low sense of self-worth a big ego boost. Instead of supporting others, stepping over others like stepping stones made them feel better and more superior.
When others made mistakes, it’s important to be kind about it. It could be frustrating. However, would you prefer to destroy the relationship and have no more future with that individual.
Or would you want that individual to curse you under the breath and look for a time to have their revenge?
However, this quote was a great way to face those who weren’t able to remove themselves from their chronic offenders. Sometimes, it’s not always possible to cut those toxic people out because of certain situations. Life could be complicated and cruel.

A man was murdering a family and the baby boy walked out the front door, escaping his possible horrid demise….
The baby waddled down the road into a graveyard and the spirits residing there, adopted him. The ghostly Owens couple named him Nobody Owens, nicknamed Bod. He was loved and cared for by all the residents at the graveyard. They protected him till he became a teenager. Then, it was time for him to explore the human world.
Why was his family murdered? How would life be like for him as he got older?
The story background combination of a graveyard and a baby was very intriguing to me. There were many funny inserts in the dialogue, especially as the reader got to meet the spirits and the inscriptions of the gravestones.
I recommend this as a follow up for fans of Coraline, his other famous book.
