An ancient prophecy said that every 4000 years, a special little child would hold the power of eternal life and supernatural power when the child possessed both halves of the Medallion. An evil villain tried to find the child and own the power.
As the villain caused havoc, the special liaison between the Hong Kong police officer, Eddie (Jackie Chan) and the British Interpol agent formed. But, then Eddie was killed while trying to save the Special Child…..
Conclusion
Classic martial arts and comedy scenes from a typical Jackie Chan movie was expected. However, it’s not super exciting or moving.
Ever wonder what those non-playing characters in video games would do if they were free to choose their own lives? One such character was Guy, in his blue shirt and khaki pants. Everyday he would get up, say hi to his let goldfish and start his day. He would choose one of his many blue shirts and khaki pants to wear to work. Guy then ordered the same coffee at the coffee shop. Finally, he arrived at the bank as a teller. His best friend was the security guard. Everyday, the bank would get robbed at gun point by robbers.
One day, after seeing a girl with sunglasses, Guy suddenly had the urge to order a different type of coffee. Everyone around him cautioned him not to…. Just do the same thing, Guy….After seeing a girl with sunglasses again, Guy did the unimaginable! He ordered a different drink, wore a different shirt and even quit his job when he actually “shot” the robber.
After successfully following the girl with the sunglasses, she showed him that the world he lived in was part of a video game…. He was shocked!
Conclusion
For those who played a lot of role playing video games, many of the aspects of the characters, would seem familiar. I thoroughly enjoyed how the main characters fought till the end for what was right.
After working on a long creative project, I was ready to relax at the spa! I chose to have a RMT (registered massage therapist) for my super intense full body massage.
After signing in and filling in my form on the first level, I took the elevator up to the second floor where the treatment rooms were located. As soon as I arrived, the receptionist asked me if I needed a quick tour around the place. She told me that I was welcome to use the hot tub and eucalyptus steam room. (Note: Bring your swimming suit.) The lounge area had the roobios tea and lemon water containers.
I was given a robe and a pair of slippers to change into at the change room. The change room had a nice shower there too! After changing, I waited in the lounge room for my therapist.
My RMT asked me my preference of therapeutic pressure. I said heavy pressure and she did just that! I knew I had many tight knots and tense muscle fibres. So, I was prepared for the temporary discomfort, knowing that my muscles would be relaxed afterwards. Yes, some bruising surfaced as usual for me after a successful treatment.

Thank you The Spa at The Nita Lake for such a wonderful experience! I wished I had more time to hang out!
Each episode was a mini-documentary of each movie classic. All the behind-the-scenes sweat, blood and tears. As a movie goer, we usually only saw the glamorous outcomes.
This series shared all the secrets, betrayals, bankruptcies and the conflicts within each movie. The fact that each movie was a hit and a success, sometimes, the same movie ended friendships.
Some of the movies were:
-Halloween
-Friday the 13th
-Home Alone
-Coming To America
And much more!
Conclusion
I learned so much about the secrets of filmography and imagery. The fact that there was no digital filmography and special effects back then impressed me a lot.
During the off-season of the winter ski season, the Whistler village was much more quieter than usual. However, I needed that calmness to get away to…
The suite that we stayed at had two bedrooms and one room with a bunkbed. The kitchen was smaller than I was accustomed to, but functional.
There were two bathrooms with the usual amenities. It gave me the peace of mind to know that there was enough towels and shampoo with soap for the group.
My favourite was the hot tub that hid inside the building on the second floor. Bookings were not needed along with lots of towels for us to borrow. Guests were courteous and took turns at the hot tub.
The hot tub was outside technically, but was under the cover. This was perfect because the rain didn’t bother us even though it was pouring. There was a bathroom and shower for the hot tub, hidden along in that area. Guests had the code to enter to this small slice of freedom.
