Jackie Frost was Jack Frost’s daughter and one of the top interior designers in the city. One day, Santa Claus called her for her help to redecorate Christmas Central as his Christmas present to Mrs. Claus.
Jackie was prepared to take this job, but she was not prepared to encounter Santa’s head craftsman, Dean.
This was a sweet and short story about opening one’s heart and be brave.

Ever since his identity was revealed, Peter Parker’s life was turned upside down. Angry mobs called Spider-Man a murderer, while colleges rejected his applications. Unfortunately, this also affected his girlfriend and best friend’s applications too. Peter wanted to go back to a time when no one who he was…..So, he went to see Doctor Strange.
However, without the Time Stone, Doctor Strange could not travel back in time anymore. Instead, he could cast a spell where no one would remember that Peter Parker was Spider-Man. As he began to cast the spell, Peter kept changing requesting his girlfriend, best friend and other people to still remember his secret identity. After too many changes, the spell went out of control and the Mulitverse opened up.
Imagine Spider-Man and Villains from different parallel universes arriving at the same time….
I liked how they tied all three Spider-Man characters together. There was lots of action and funny dialogue too.

Right before the Christmas holidays, there was another restriction was put into place. So we couldn’t have those large gatherings at home like before.
We were lucky that we could still have a small gathering this Christmas.
Wishing a safe and happy holiday to all!

Check out my super cool sign by Tay-Lor Designs! I met her at an artisan’s market and she had the coolest Christmas wreaths!
1) Why did you start your business?
I have been crafting my entire life. For wreaths, I have been doing for three years.
2) What was your background?
My background is work-wise was Marketing and Promotions.
I started making wreaths because I had a table selling signs beside a ‘wreath maker’ who was quite pricey ($250+).
I sought out to make a few for family under $50 a piece where I still made a buck. It’s been great!!
3) Interesting facts about your product?
Each wreath (swag) was 100% unique just like each buyer.
4) Anythinh else your would like to share?
My happiness was when a customer was truly happy and excited ‘scoring’ one of my wreaths!

Our family had this friend, who for the past few years, baked cookies for Christmas. At first, I thought he was only going to do it once, as it was very time consuming. He made many different flavours, from the lemon centred ones to the chocolate chip cookies. I believed he made about eight different types once!
I remembered one year, he did it with his niece and nephews as a group effort! Ever since the pandemic, he went back to making them all himself. Then, he would drive around to drop off a box to all his high school buddies.
Every Christmas, I look forward to receiving his homemade cookies of kindness and care.

During the month of December, most places put up their Christmas lights. Therefore, once night fell, we decided to leave our place and take a walk.
So after putting on a warm coat and boots, we slowly ventured out into the cold. The Parliament building looked like a gingerbread house!

Some cookies for Christmas? Yes, please! I met this wonderful cookie company at a local artisan market.
1) Why and when did you start this company?
The Alfajor Company was established as a licensed homemade business in December 2020 here in Vancouver, British Columbia. I had managed and co-owned a pastry shop, where we sold these cookies before. I had a vision that, maybe later in life, I could sell them from a commissary kitchen to other cafes and establishments. I had done a bit of forecasting to see if this idea could be realised, since more and more small coffee shops were closing, at the peak of Covid19. That was when the idea for a different approach to the business was born, and I launched my virtual alfajor bakery.
2) What was your background?
I am Bolivian-born, eating these special cookies after my mom and both grandmothers would get together before birthdays. They would bake so many alfajor cookies as well as other sweet treats. I love to have a connection with those times. Being small and learning from them.
3) Interesting facts about your product?
The Alfajor is now a Latin American staple. More so then its place of origin. It is loved by all its countries.
Slight differences in the aspects of it from one country to the next. This is our take on it, while trying to keep it as traditional as it can be.
4) What else would you like to share?
The cookie originated on the Iberian coast in the late 700’s, when Spain was taken over by the Moors. Much later in time, after South America was colonized by the Spanish and their traditions introduced, so was the alfajor cookie.
Argentina was where Dulce de leche originated from, and this was my take on it. The Alfajor cookie wafers were sandwiched with dulce de leche (Milk Caramel) in the middle. Sweet lovers were fascinated over it and it became what it was…
