A mom and her son was onboard a plane to a medical facility to receive treatment for her special condition. Suddenly, the terrorists hijacked the plane and began killing passengers. They even forced two passengers who fitted the stereotypical Islamic extremist profile to read a terrorist statement. The terrorists had planned to crash the plane after jumping off.
What they didn’t prepare for was that some of passengers were determined to fight back…. One even rose from the dead or did she?
This was an interesting concept and storyline. I liked how the characters worked together and grew to trust each other so quickly. A mother’s love and an extremely brave boy tied it all together.
A newly hired security guard “H” was able to take down six robbers during his first job on the cash truck. Everyone was surprised and very impressed. His supervisor, on the other hand, had an odd feeling about this “hero” on the team. The owner, however, wanted to promote “H” to keep the morals high.
Soon, they would discover that this “hero” actually had a hidden agenda….
Although I expected a typical action movie featuring Jason Statham, I enjoyed the planning and the steps that led to the heist scenes.
Rachel was starting a new chapter in her life. Her ex-fiancé decided to leave her for someone else. Her job as a police officer was also because of this man! She needed a break and time away to think about her future life. So, she decided to go on a cruise for a vacation.
Happily, she met some lovely cruising travellers, a handsome man and a friendly elderly lady. Rachel was excited to meet new people and to relax. Little did she know that she was going to encounter murder onboard.
As I reading this book, I felt like I was on the cruise trip with her. I enjoyed the storyline and the clean language.
On the side of the Sea to Sky Highway in British Columbia, there is a hidden wooden platform. Locals and visitors often venture up there to enjoy the view. Near the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal, you can sit up there and just hangout by yourself or with your friends!
This little book is part of the Mindfulness Essentials series and is by the well known Zen teachers, Thich Nhat Hanh. He emphasizes the importance of perspective and being open. To work towards being able to look deeply and truthfully into ourselves and others. It’s crucial that we look beyond our past and to accept who we are to help ourselves to advance in life.
I really liked that I can just pick up this book and read one or two pages as a reminder. Very often these words of wisdom resonated with me at that moment in time. Definitely great to have around!
